Frequently asked questions

Do silk scarves have to be dry cleaned?

No. Silk scarves can be gently hand washed.

What if I get a stain on my scarf?

You can lightly treat the stain with a stain remover, then hand wash. Some stains may not be removed completely, but will benefit from treatment.

Acetate scarves wrinkle when washed. What can I do about that?

After hand washing and blotting your scarf on a white towel, iron it dry. The wrinkles won't be set in and you'll get a smooth finish your your scarf.

I like scarves, but don't know how to wear them.

How do I know a vintage garment will fit me?

Always go by the measurements of the garment and allow extra room for movement. Sizes change over the years and can't always be depended on for an accurate fit.
